Sardinia Holiday Homes Prices Declining in 2018
Sardinia Holidays Home Pices eclining in 2018: it’s still “time for buyers” in Sardinia, as the real estate market continues to drop, with holiday houses prices still declining by 0,6% in 2018, more than the 0,1% everage drop in the rest of the Italian sea resorts. It’s important to underline that it’s the third year in a row that holiday homes prices are dropping in Sardinia (after 2,5% fall in 2017 and 3% fall in 2016).
No price crisis for Luxury Homes:
At the same time the price evolution shows us the average price, but for example luxury villas are still holding well, especially those ones closer to the sea, the regional law in fact prohibits the construction of news houses and buildings within 300 meters (984 feet) from the shore. The average price for this kind of villas is around 3 million Euros in Costa Smeralda.
News for “Country Houses” and “Hotels”:
By the way the new Sardinian “urban development law” is going to get discussed since the second half of September and lots of news are awaited especially for “Country Houses” and “Hotels” on the coast, with the goal to reduce the soil consumption.
If you are looking for an hotel to restyle then you have to know that the new law will most probably allows volumetric gains by 25% of the existing buildings, for a maximum of 1500 cubic metres (almost 53000 cubic feet) for those tourism accomodations that didnt benefit from the so called “Piano Casa“.
