Sailing Yacht A in Porto Cervo: one of the world’s largest superyachts simply called “A” (or if you prefer “Sailing Yacht A“, click on the photo above to enlarge it), with its 142,8 meters lenght and 90 meters high trees (like a 9 floors building), was spotted yesterday in Porto Cervo (11th May, 2017), where it arrived from Cote d’Azur (by the way Porto Cervo hosts one of the 9 Sardinian Blue Flag Marinas).
Property of the Russian Billionaire Andrey Melnichenko this wonderful yacht, a visionary project of Philippe Starck, was officially delivered by German shipyard Nobiskrug in Kiel at the beginnings of this year and costed something like 420 millions of euros. But no worries, according to Forbes the Russian Tycoon has a 13 billions dollars wellness that makes him the 89th richier man on planet Earth.
This amazing auxilliary schooner has obviusly lots of key features on board, like an underwater observation pod, hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system and state-of-the-art navigation systems.
Billionairs, Tycoons, Kings and Sheikhs from all over the world usually comes to Porto Cervo with their magnificent superyachts, in such a luxury parade that lasts for all the Summer.
