In Sardinia, at the moment, the biggest news are coming from Cagliari airport, the most crowded of our island (basically because it’s located close to the sardinian most populated city and for its proximity to some of the most important tourist resort such us Pula, Villasimius, Chia and Costa Rei).

Ryanair – that cut something like 8 routes the past year – announced its return in South Sardinia with 6 new flights from Cagliari to London Luton (U.K.), Barcelona Girona and Madrid (Spain), Warsaw (Poland), plus Catania and Verona in Italy.

Another big event is the first time of KLM flying to South Sardinia, where the Dutch company will connect Cagliari to Amsterdam (Amsterdam Schiphol airport), from April to the end of October.

To connect Cagliari to Madrid-Barajas from June to September will be the Spanish Iberia Express, the low cost air company of Iberia group.

Another spanish company, Volotea, will connect from the beginning of June to the end of August, Cagliari to two of the most important French cities: Toulouse and Nantes.
